Meat RangeSince the abattoir closure in Skegness we have been fortunate in purveying our meat supplies from John Penny at Rawston; his award winning herds means our shop is stocked well with fully traceable quality beef cuts that are superior in taste. Annas Happy Trotters free range pork is also selling very well, this mixed breed pork has lovely meat texture; keeping it’s fat layer ensures a great taste.
Glyn Morgan’s Pedigree Gloucester Old Spot. Both Annas and Glyns meats go into our Pork Pies that are receiving great plaudits from our new customers that are trying for the first time. The recipe is no secret like some other butchers claim theirs are, it’s just top notch pork, well prepared hot water pastry, salt, black pepper and lots of love for the product – That’s all.
